Potassium Sorbate

Potassium salt of sorbic acid. Naturally occurring antimicrobial compound. Used as a
preservative.

Oryza Sativa Bran Extract

Rice Bran Extract. Rich in antioxidants including omega-3 fatty acids. Contains
micronutrients.

Panthenol

Pro-vitamin B5. Helps increase skin’s hydration and diminish water loss.

Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate

Improved performance of preservatives. A salt synthesized from glutamic acid (natural amino acid). Made from plants. Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate is NOT the same as Tetrasodium EDTA.

Sodium Benzoate

A preservative made from the salt of benzoic acid (found in foods like cranberries)
combined in the lab with lye. Prevents fungal and bacterial growth

A phenolic compound produced in plants (from the bark and wintergreen leaves of the white willow). Well known for use in treating acne. A precursor to aspirin. Salicylic Acid is a Beta hydroxy acid (BHA). Skin-calming.. Helps prevent visible signs of aging. Less then 1%, this concentration of salicylic acid is safe for regular, daily use.

Sodium Lauroyl Methyl Isethionate

Made from coconut. A sulfate-free cleaning agent and surfactant, a safer alternative to harsh sulfates. Makes facial cleansers easy to rinse from skin.

Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice

Organic juice from the leaf of the Aloe vera plant, a succulent known for its healing and moisturizing properties. Aloe vera leaf juice is used in face cleansers for its ability to hydrate and nourish skin. It is suitable for all skin types. Aloe leaf juice is known for repairing skin and balancing skin tone. Aloe leaf juice is also known to prevent acne-causing bacteria to prevent acne, whiteheads and blackheads from forming.

Lactic Acid

Used for its exfoliant and anti-wrinkle properties. Fights hyperpigmentation, clears acne. Removes dead skin cells, improves the look of fine lines and wrinkles. Good for all skin types. Naturally derived, made from fermentation extract. Lactic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA).

Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine

A nontoxic, thickening cleanser made from coconut oil that provides a foaming action. Readily biodegradable.
