The Importance of Taking Fertility Supplements Consistently for At Least 90 Days

3 Bottles of Fertility Supplements, Vitamin D3 + K2, Turmeric and CoQ10 for Egg Health

To get the full benefit of the supplement regime you’ve started to improve your health and fertility, you need to commit to at least 90 days of daily use.

Why is it important to take your supplements every day for at least 90 days? There are two main reasons:

1) You need to take the supplements leading up to egg maturation for your not yet ovulated eggs to get the benefit of your supplements

While women are born with all the eggs she will have throughout her life, the eggs in your ovaries, these eggs are immature and dormant up until they begin the maturation process. This maturation process takes between 90-120 days. To improve the quality of your immature eggs, you’ll need to start taking your supplements before your next immature eggs start the maturation process so that they can experience the benefits of your supplementation regime.

Stay on your daily supplement regime as you try to conceive and through-out pregnancy: It’s important to commit to taking your supplements every day for at least 90 days before expecting them to provide an egg quality benefit. You will want to keep up your supplements throughout your entire trying to conceive journey.

After pregnancy, don’t stop your supplementation (but do consult your Ob) Should you fall pregnant, we strongly recommend continuing with our Fertility Boost Bundle (Vitamin D3 + K2, PreNatal gummies, and CoQ10) as these supplements have additional immune boosting properties that will help you ward off common illnesses during your pregnancy, and help you recover faster should you catch an illness while pregnant. Pregnancy is considered an immune compromising condition, and boosting your immune system is critical while pregnant. You WILL need to discuss your supplement regimen with your Obstetrician, it’s very important that your doctor knows everything you’re taking and for them to sign-off on any supplements you take during your pregnancy.

2) Most supplements, including our Fertility Boost Bundle (Vitamin D3 + K2, PreNatal gummies, and CoQ10) all have between a 30 day and 90 day lead-up time to enjoy the full health benefits of each supplement

Vitamin D

It can take up to a week for Vitamin D supplementation to show up in a blood test. Research shows that Vitamin D3 leads to a higher increase of Vitamin D level over D2. Our Vitamin D supplement is paired with K2 because helps your body transport calcium to your bones and teeth. As Vitamin D helps your body absorb more calcium, it’s important to take it with K2 so the calcium is transported where it is needed and not left to sit in your arteries or soft tissues.

If you’re deficient in Vitamin D (and many people are), it can take several months for supplementation to bring your Vitamin D levels to normal.

CoQ10

Studies have shown that CoQ10 starts showing an impact on health within two weeks of daily use, while maximum benefits are reached around 3 months.

Turmeric

Current research indicates that the full impact of turmeric takes between one and two months to achieve, but you should start to enjoy a positive effect on your health with supplementation of turmeric within a few days, especially when taken with piperine (which Happy Stork’s Turmeric includes in the form of BioPerine(R)

Committing to a supplementation regime is important to experience the fertility benefits you’re looking to achieve. While it will take 90 days to see an improvement in women (shorter time frame for men due to the quicker timeframe for sperm maturation), staying on the supplementation throughout your conception journey will be important. We also recommend continuing with supplements once you fall pregnant as well to maintain a healthier immune system and fight against inflammation with can threaten early pregnancy as well as other critical health benefits for pregnant women.

Autoship of our Fertility Boost Bundle will help you stay on track with your fertility supplement regimen.
